Venue
The location for WEMF2002 is the picturesque town of Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Bobcaygeon is approximately 1.5 hours northeast from Toronto. If traveling by car or RV, please see the maps and driving directions on the Travel Section. We also suggest you consult www.mapquest.com if you are traveling from areas not listed on this site.

By shuttle bus, the travel time would be slightly higher ­ approximately 2 hours. If you plan on taking the shuttle bus, please see the shuttle bus schedule posted in the Travel Section.

We are happy to announce that both the town and police are welcoming this event into their community. We've fine tuned and addressed every logistical concern we could think of over this past year, working together with the town of Bobcaygeon and the local authorities to ensure that this is the best WEMF ever!

Improvements for WEMF2002

• Scheduled shuttle service from Toronto to THE FRONT GATE of WEMF2002 ­ no more hauling your stuff from the drop off point to the entry gate!
• Posted shuttle bus schedules and vastly improved service ­ no more guessing when busses are scheduled to arrive and depart Toronto or the event!
  
• 24hr Parking lot shuttle to whisk you and your stuff between your car and the front gate as well as back again when you leave ­ and multiple shuttles to ensure a smooth flow of fun!
  
• Increased door staff to speed entry into the event ­ no more slow lines!
  
• FREE shuttle bus service to and from the downtown of Bobcaygeon and local beaches throughout the day on Saturday.
  
• Vastly improved event grounds with DOUBLE the amount of camping area from last year through the addition of neighboring fields ­ no more hunting for a good spot and a much cleaner and organized layout!
  
• Full support from the local authorities and the town.
  
• Free potable water for bottle refills!
  
• Improved RV parking with electrical hookups (available for advance booking through Ticketmaster) ­ RV parking is on-site this year, not in the parking lot!

* Please note that the driving times listed on the flyer are incorrect. This is a result of a venue choice we made after printing. When the planning for WEMF2002 began last year, we wanted to ensure its success by obtaining all necessary permits well in advance. We did so at a number of spots with the
idea in mind that we would make the venue choice closer to the event. After some problems with last year’s spot we did not initially feel we would have a smooth ride at our first and best choice ­ the town of Bobcaygeon. In what is obviously a benefit for all involved, we were pleasantly surprised when the town came back to us and welcomed us back into their community. As it turned out, the town of Bobcaygeon and the local authorities made this an easy choice and one we know you will appreciate.

Interactive Inflatable Zone/Waterworks - New For WEMF2002!
Dance till you sweat and then come and cool off on our SUPER HUGE 40' long inflatable waterslide. If that's not enough, make your way though the rain tunnel and get hosed with a hundred other people at a time - or tackle the 24' tall Giant Slide to get commanding view of the party! When the fun in the sun gets to be a bit much, kick back on some extra-large INFLATABLE COUCHES! (Specially designed for industrial strength lounging - they can fit ten of your friends at a time).You can stay all day and night or keep coming back for more through a one time all access fee on site (independently owned and operated).

You are permitted to bring licensed Recreational Vehicles of any size to WEMF2002. There will be a limited number of electrical hook-ups available for a fee on a first-come, first-serve basis. Information and pre-reservation of serviced sites can be done through the Tickets section. Overflow non-serviced sites will also be available.
