In the beginning there was Jack… Jack-o-lantern! And from this lantern shone the evil lighting of all evil lighting. And while one day viciously blinding the dance floor, Jack boldly declared, “Let there be FUNK!” and Freak The Funk Out was born. I am, you see, I AM the creator of endless years of torment called Freakout and this is my foul pier! And on my vile pier there is only evil funk. But I am not the only one condemned to Freak The Funk Out because once you enter my horrible pier then it becomes OUR freaky funk! And, you see, no man owns the freaky funk, the sinful breaks, the criminal trance or the wicked jungle because sinful dance music and thumping base is a universal language, uttered and consumed by all. You see, funk is a feeling and on Saturday, November 1st we invite you shake the dirt from your grave and join us back where it all began!
